Initially beginning a career in visual merchandising, Fiona spent 10 years presenting the retail image of some of Australia’s major fashion retailers. A move to the Mornington Peninsula to start a family soon found the environment to be creative in a raw sense.
Fiona began life drawing classes again to define her skills with the human form and started to take note of the lively figures that surounded her in family and friends. Always striving to capture the female spirit in its various complexities, Fiona’s paintings show the female emotions ranging from sensual, pensive, playful an powerful.
